weird sounds
after i lowered my car with h&r race springs/ tokico adjustables i noticed a weird clanking sound coming from the rear, after asking around people informed me that it was the coils hitting each other. Now can anyone tell me how can i eliminate this sound from occuring?
what gen is it? I know on my 5th gen (when I had H&R's on it) there was a little noise from the "dead coils." Those are the coils of the springs that get completely compressed once the weight of the car is on it.
I never fixed it on mine. Try that rubber thing from above.
I also had problems getting the springs isolators (whatever those rubber things are called) to seat properly. This caused some clanking. But after a couple times of readjusting them they stayed put.
