How hard is it to adjust Valves in B16 head?

 

Easy if you can get a helms, feeler gauges, and one of these.

 

That tool is very important. You can still use a 10mm wrench and flat head though. Just takes more time.

Weird, i just did my valve adjustment on my car today. B18B1 though. MY buddy told me that on the VTEC heads, you need that tool. its way easier to do. takes about 1 hour tops.

 

so u just tighting them until the filler guage is snug? I watched by buddy do my valves with a 10mm & flathead

 

Well, Get the specs for the intake and exhaust sides. They'll give you a small range that the valves ahve to be. for Example, B18B1 exhaust side is .006-.008, So i just made it so .008 wont fit and .007 fits snug. So its in the middle of the Specs.
