Default What oil should i use ??/
wat oil should i be using wit my oil i first put in 5-30 and my motor eats it up...my setup is crower cams/valves/springs/retainers. je pistons/eagle rods arps..motor has 200 miles on it..

X2 I use mobil 1 clean 5000 and I change it ever 1,500 miles and filter every 3,000 miles. Maybe a bit much but hey I've had motors last over 250k so I'll stick with it.

If the motor only has 200 miles on it you shouldn't be running synthetic oil, just run regular 10-30 for the first change or 2

i agree with eg. forgot he said it had 200 miles on it. its not a factory build anymore so use the 10w 30. pennzoil or castrol, i prefer

Since it's a brand new motor, get a magnetic drain plug if you haven't already.
