It depends on lots of factors, it's not just about HP.

yes possibly I;ve seen it on less hp. So yes it can but everything has to be set up for it.

My first pass off the street in my teg was 11.37@128 (@ 15psi) I made 471@17psi

 

probably because thats what motor he has

 

i went 10.20's @ 501whp, in a 22XX # car. But i think it deff capable.

 

A local guy here in dallas is running 10's on his stock b16 with just headstuds and head gasket and an ebay turbo kit.

10's are doable with 450HP - 500HP

It's not easy but with the right turbo setup, suspension & tuning I believe that you can get deep into the 10's if not high 9's. The All Motor cars are getting into the 9's with less than 400HP. It's doable and has been done.

anyone have an idea of the lowest power thats made it into the 10s? 400? 350? what sorta tyres? full drag slicks or R-compund track tyres.

 

numbers dont mean ****... traps tell all.

dynos are only good for tuning... tires? there are cars running low 10's on drag radials cutting 1.5 60' times.

idk about FWD, but there are mustangs on drag radials running in the 6 second range.

 

The power helps but it also comes down to the driver and the suspension set up. Im making 478 on 13psi and i made a 10.96 pass on 22in slicks.
