Alright I'm swapping over my engine here pretty soon and I wanna know what's ganna be my best choice in engines here and what am I ganna need as far as b series mounts and cable conver. Kits. Is paying. An extra 1k or soo for the b18c compared to the gsr worth it and what's the difference between the 96-97 spec b18c and the 98+ spec?

here's a list of comparisons. hope it helps some. but, imo, the b18c1 is the better of the few engines. b16 has no torque, and the c5 is way overpriced for what it is. but, thats just my 2 cents.

I agree with jhammond. Gsr's are pretty nicely priced for the power you get. And building a reliable ls-v is too damn expensive.

d16 is right. i had ls-vtec, usdm gsr, & now jdm gsr. go for the jdm gsr. more reliable and better to get numbers. my usdm motor dyno tuned at 170whp, but the oil scraped rings were going bad.
