I think it should be stickied, Its a summary of EVERY possibly "What has X engine" Question.

Now if you throw on the appropriate ECU #'s linked to each engine this would be a fantastic source of information. (And I'd be very impressed)

After seeing the list I have... no, I don't think it should be a sticky.

This information in this thread is unorganized and some codes are repeated several times. It also mostly consists of lists you can easily find elsewhere and mostly common motors. There isn't anything incredibly interesting here.

I'll try to get my list up soon so people can start submitting any corrections they might see.

In fact, here is an old version of mine. This one is still better than this one.

I didn't take the time to check this information for accuracy, omissions, or duplicates. If anyone finds errors, or feels that they have a more comprehensive and effective list, please let me know and I'll substitute that thread for this one in the FAQ.

The list you're speaking of is over two years old ... it's grown quite a bit larger now, and probably contains more than you've found.

DON'T touch my list. My old, old, OLD list.

The list I said I'd be making into images is much larger than that one and much more complete. It is the most complete list you're going to find, short of Honda (which does not publish an engine code list).

The list is good enough to be posted already, it just needs to be made into images. It is already alphabetized, as was the info in the link I posted.

THE LIST THAT I'M TALKING ABOUT IS NOT THE LIST I LINKED TO.

Why did the '94-'97 accords magically get a JDM engine??

And the F22B1 is a SOHC VTEC motor, not a DOHC Non-VTEC Motor.

Fixed typos = thx..it's added for now...until a better one comes along.

Do you see how shitty it looks when you just list it in text? I put it in a chart and this site does not support me being able to make a text chart, so I have to make images. Click on my chassis code list in my sig for an idea.

And stop thinking about stealing my **** already. I've been working on these things for years. You go do some work and then claim your work as your own.

I got lazy on it. I may correct it tomorrow and make the watermark more "concise" ... but for now, sleep.

I must say though ... a lot more work went into this than the OP, Captain Copy-Paste.

No, I know my motor is rare. I found this thread hoping to shed some light onto my motor but yet again, I came up with nothing. There is no code in the list that is "D16A" All off the D16A has a number after it, mine is JDM and it has a plain D16A stamp. No numbers. And all the D16A in his list is non-VTEC motor, mine is a SOHC VTEC. I been trying to figure out for years now what car this motor came off of. Can someone help?
