b20 vtec

Default b20 vtec

okay, i just got a b20a block im going to make vtec, now to start can i use my p28 wireing harness, and if i used a b16 head what ecu do i use? btw what head would make the most power out of the b20 vtec conversion?

why do a vtec head conversion? Why not find a P8R head from a jdm spec non vtec B20B. It has the same 33mm size valves and flows the same as a vtec head. It's a lot less trouble!!

Another option, keep your current setup and just look for a used JR supercharger for like $800. It would make a hell of a lot more power than a vtec conversion. Not sure why everybody is so hot to have the "vtec" image...there are other choices!

LoL. I'll try to help you out a bit if you're set on a Vtec head...a lot of people like using GS-R heads because of the smaller combustion chamber. You can use your P28 ecu but I would highly recommend that you have the car tuned. A custom tune will yield the most power and best results.

gsr would be best in my opinon but inless you fully build it, the only thing you have created is time bomb and its going to bull
