Default p72 ecu jdm or usdm?

i am buying a jdm b18c from hmotors, will this come with the jdm p72 ecu as well? Because i was told that if i used the usdm ecu i would have to put a vtec solenoid switch.

Incorrect. You can bypass the vtec pressure switch. So you can run a usdm or jdm ecu.
Your best bet would probably be a chipped obd1 vtec ecu.

thanks for the reply, are you saying i can either bypass it, or run the chipped ecu? Or does the chipped ecu bypass it?

You may bypass the vtec pressure switch with a wiring bypass trick listed on our website http://www.phearable.net/tech

Concerning a chipped ecu, it was simply a recommendation instead of running a stock p72.
