hey, first thx to all those that take time to help me out. i just purchased a 91 LS integra its 4DR Automatic. i was told it needed a new head gasket. i have the helms manual and i do have some experience doing it but just wanted to cover my bases first. not all questions here are gonna make complete sense. as im lazy i want to make sure that i dont take a shortcut im not supposed to.

1 st question: when removing the head to replace the gasket do i really have to remove the intake manifold? i know it might make it easier to squeez out but its not a concern of mine.

2 nd question: Timing.... do i have to set everything to TDC or can i slip the belt off and just put the head back on the way it was? if timing was never disturbed why change it?
