How Do I Remove My Front Quarter Panels?
I Just bought a 94 civic si hatch and it has damage to the front quarter panels (both) so i jot new ones, but before they get painted and put on how do i get the old ones off i hear i need to remove the side skirts too. so there is alot of confusion going on and would love some help/advise on the safest way. + not scratching the new ones that are going on. thanks
3 bolts under the hood.
2 on the bottom behind the sideskirt.
1 in between where the door n fender meets,(must open door to get at it)
taking off the sideskirts is easy prolly only 3 screws or 4 or maybe none at all, they just slide forward or back and then pull it out.
takes 5 minutes to pull front fenders.
if u have aftermarket sideskirts (they just put them on over the factory sideskirt) this is where ull see the screws, usualy 2 on each end and 3 or 4 on the door sill.) once removed the skirt will come off easy with no effort. the oem sideskirt just push it back or ahead and pull out, they are on clips only.

you mean the fenders? Yes you do need to remove the sideskirts. Remove the bumper, the headlights, the sideskirts, and then the fender. There is a hidden bolt behind the doors and two behind the sideskirt. There might also be a brace holding the fender to the body.
usualy easier to take the two bolts off the part attatched to the fender instead of the car. so its easier going back on too
yah sorry i guess i meant the front fenders. thanks for the help people. i'll probably get to taking them off thursday or friday. i'll let you know how the whole thing goes. doesn't sound too bad. maybe i'll post some pictures up of how it went.
