How does one take it off? I have a Helms, but it dont really say. Someone told me that'd you have to break the plastic clips on the inside.
Search came up with nothing. Thx.

Re: Side molding removal...... (DSC)
on my 98 ek, i had to take out my inside rear quarter panels and my door panels to squeeze/pinch the plastic clips from the inside and push them out. also, there is adhesive on the moldings which made it harder to remove. use a heatgun/hair dryer to take off the adhesive softer and easier to remove. it took me a while but i didn't brake any of the clips.

Re: Side molding removal...... (EkREV)
I second the above, although I think there is only adhesive on the moldings on the doors. There are also nuts holding the door moldings on near the locking mechanism and the last clip on the door molding near the fender just slides off.
For the fender ones, just remove some of the fender liner screws to access the 2 clips. Squeeze em and it'll pop out.
The 1/4 panels ones require you to partially remove the plastic panels and the seat belt mechanism. Squeeze and pop
