Default Sidemarker install problem

So i got my sidemarkers all in place and what not and i decided to wire them this past weekend. Since the stock corner light has 2 bulbs in it and the depo blackhoused corners only have 1, i've been riding around with spare bulbs in my fenders. I decided to leave the bulb that does not blink in the corner, and use the one that stays on with the 1st headlight "click" but also blinks as the side marker. I cut the green and black wires, connected to new sockets, passenger side works no problem. My drivers side does not come on.

What i know:
- When the power is on to the light i am getting 3 volts across the power wire to the ground wire (should be 12).
- I know the ground is fine because i tried the passenger side power with the drivers side ground.
- The bulb and socket work fine, tested on the other side

What i need to know:

- Is there a fuse that could be blown that would cause only this light to not work?
- Where does this green wire go to? If i need to trace it, i'd like to have an idea of where i'm going.
- Any other suggestions?
