Default ecu upgrade

so im thinking of chippin my ecu (p28) but im not sure of any good names that make chips for this ecu othern then hondata

ive got 150$ anyone got any suggestions??

ok ill check em out

something i just noticed on my p28 is its NOT socketed where would i buy a kit or something that will allow me to socket the slots so i can litterly put a chip in to the p28?

Yes there are all kinds of sockets available. Get a ZIF socket or something that allows you to "lever" the chip in and out. You can get them almost anywhere: Radio Shack, E-bay, various websites, ect, ect.

so how hard would u guys say installing a kit like this is

im contemplating doing it my self vs getting a shop to do it just casue ive never really had to solder things like that i mostly jsut solder wire lol

neptune, crome, hondata, skunk2, aem. the list goes on and on for chips. guy on here chips ecu's for 50 bucks. http://www.j-k-tuning.com/

First you need to know what it is you are wanting to accomplish.

THEN you can figure out what program will be best for you. Blindly "chipping" your ECU will only damage things.
