My brother in law has a eg with gsr front brakes on it and it's making
a humming noise on driver side. U hear it when I get around
10mph and up. Hope someone can help me it's not the axles or nothig
like that plz help if you can.

 

most common is to jack up the vehicle.. rgab the wheel 3oclock and 9oclock position...and shake it. dotn turn the wheel since your trying to find the looseness. then grab the wheel 12 oclock and 6 oclcok position. if any play is felt you must source the location. if it looks like your hub is moving (or rotor) tehn you have just found play in your wheel bearing.

^^^this is also teh same method used to find loose tie-rods, balljoints, control arm bushings etc..

not all bad wheel bearings have play. there are some that are just noisy. they start at a certain speed and get louder and louder and louder and they might change pitch if you place a diffrent load on that bearing (i.e. turning the wheel whiel driving).

more then likely if your wheel bearing is noisy...then you would have play but not 100 percent of time is this true.

for the harder to find wheel bearings (the ones that make noise but no play is found) you can spin the tire by hand and rest your hand on the spring of the suspension. any noise (noise is vibration) will be felt on the spring.
