ok as some of you might have seen i am rebuilding my R. i came across my oirg cluster with miles matching my title.

the guy wants 220 for it i know i can get a jdm one for like 150 what sould i do?

Agreed, USDM clusters retail for more than JDM just b/c people in the USA care more about their caRs; in Japan they're throw aways.

How did he get your original cluster should be the better question....

 

I'm guessing he meant that the mileage was about the same as his cars last documented mileage. That doesn't mean it was his cars original cluster.

 

I highly doubt you can trace a cluster back to his car by matching any type of numbers on there. I think the guy has a cluster similar in mileage to his original. But if he does have THE original cluster, and your car is stripped when you got it, that raises another flag.

 

his car was parted out and sold to him. im sure when he says its the original cluster it is, and wasnt stolen.
