so my 2000 ex. 220xxx miles idles low and when im driving it surges and loses power. it bounces like im messing up on the clutch. ive replaced the distributor cap, fuel filter and theres no check engine light..

whats my problem?!

i would replace spark plug wires and spark plugs if it doesnt stop it could be your whole dizzy going out.

 

It's the dizzy. Change it out and the problem will go away.

how is this diffrent from a vaccum leak?

 

A vacuum leak would increase idle speed or cause idle surging but it typically would not affect driving performance.
