Default need help with my transmission

hello,
i have been having problems with my transmission. with the motor off the car will go into every gear and have no problems doing it. but when the car is running it is very difficult to get the car into gear, i need to force it. when i am sitting on a hill the with the car in first gear and the clutch in the car will not roll backwards, i am sure its the transmission and not the brakes. i would appreciate any and all help, to help me solve my problems.

Clutch is not working correctly.

Check all things in the clutch system. Master cylinder, fluid bled correctly, slave cylinder operation and fork travel. If none of those are issues, pull the trans and check the clutch itself.
