Default over heating/over flowing

My car recently started over heating, so I changed the thermostat and that helped some but it still did a little. Then I got my car boosted and it over heated more and more, I changed the thermostat to a superstat and it still did. What it would do was over flow coolant into the overflow tank and then not suck it back in, so I was running low on coolant witch made it overheat. So I figured my radiator had some blockage because it was a pretty old shisty radiator, so I changed it out with a 2 inch aluminum one. But still doing the same thing, so now I'm guessing there is blockage in the block? I got got a flush kit and I'm going to try that tomorrow, anything else I should check??

so i bled my coolant today and i noticed when it gets to running temp, a small amount of bubbles will come up, so its looking like a i need a new head gasket? but there is no smoking. coolant will overflow into the tank then the level will drop back down but not suck the coolant back in from the overflow tank? im stumped, help is appreiciated!
