lights? Wiring? Problem..
Bought my DA a couple of months ago and I need to smog it and get a brake and light inspection. Thing is is that my hazards and front corner lights don't work and I think 1 brake light is on whenever the lights are on. I know the bulbs in the front corner lights are good because every once and a while when I just turn the key over they come on for a sec. Kinda odd. Any ideas on the problem and how to fix it? I'm stuck and cant drive till it passes. Id like to fix it my self since I'm sure it would be cheaper. the brake and light inspection alone is $100 plus to fix it.
that is so simple at the bottom of the light bulbs you will see two contacts check all of the ones inside the tail lights and see if the contacts have not infused or the assembly also and thats where your problem is clean them up and replace bulbs if needed.
my blinkers work so it cant be the relay can it? when i have my blinker on and hit the hazard switch my blinker will stop. Could it be the hazard switch?
So I got a new switch and my hazards still dont work. I have no clue where the hazard fuse is in my car. There isnt a spot in my fuse box or the one in my engine bay. And im sure the relay is good since my blinkers work right? So has to be the fuse? Anyone know where it is in a 91 integra? I need to pass the brake and light inspection and this is holding me back please help!
Checking the hazard bulbs...and Secondly the hazard button itself. My civic has a dimmer wheel and whenever I hit a bump my cluster lights turn off..I finally traced it to the dimmer switch..so I jammed a tiny screw on the side of it and now they stay on!
