Default Removing dealership sticker

Hey guys..I have a 99 Honda Civic. I bought the car from another person who bought it from the dealership. The car has a sticker in the back with the dealership logo. The dealership stickers has probably been on since year 2000.

How can I remove the sticker without messing up the paint?

The sticker has been on for about 8-9 years. If I remove it now, will the paint outside the sticker look dull due to sunlight compared to the paint under the sticker?

Yes. You're going to be able to tell it was there if you're looking for it, especially on a darker color. It shouldn't be painfully obvious if you buff out the general area with some compound & polish before waxing.

Not for free, and it's not going to look any better than if you did it yourself.

Can I use a heater fan instead of a hair dryer? I have a heater fan but no heat gun or hair dryer. I have a fan like this one:http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...n%2BHeater.jsp

Will the heater fan do the job?
