Hey guys..I have a 99 Honda Civic. I bought the car from another person who bought it from the dealership. The car has a sticker in the back with the dealership logo. The dealership stickers has probably been on since year 2000.

How can I remove the sticker without messing up the paint?

The sticker has been on for about 8-9 years. If I remove it now, will the paint outside the sticker look dull due to sunlight compared to the paint under the sticker?

I would get a blow dryer and some goof off from your local auto parts store.

Some paper towels and some elbow grease.

the 92-2000 forum is a pretty popular one to get fast feedback in, but I'm going to go ahead and recommend before someone else does that you post in the paint/body forum as it's there for a reason.

^^ that works well but hair dryers tend to take a long time to heat it up, but heat guns can crew your paint up really fast.

use a heat gun and goo gone. put a strip of blue painters tape right under the sticker when you heat it up. the tape with burn b4 your paint will so you know when its getting too hot. gl.

some suggestions really scare me here. a heat gun and picking it off with your fingers works on most. It isn't hard to determine how hot is too hot. even if the paint feels hot to the touch it won't be a big deal. Just don't hold the heat gun on it for a long period of time. usually 30 seconds should suffice, but be sure not to just hold it in one spot. or a good eraser wheel. DO NOT USE the paper towel and elbow grease. Paper towel scuffs paint. YOU WILL see it.
