did a b18 to b20 swap but am still using the b18 injectors. i have a power loss problem where my b20 has no power. i went to emission testing the other day and i tested waayyy below the limit, for example the hc limit was 220 for idle and mine tested 15, the hc limit for cruise was 160 and mine tested 15. so im asuming that the reason for my power loss is lack of fuel. so either a new ecu is needed or somthing else. bit i didnt know if i need differnent injectors for the swap. thanks

 

B18 and B20 use the same injectors

 

yeah their the same injectors and almost any part on the b18 will fit on the b20, i just did a b20b swap in my ek hatch and I used a ls fuel rail and injectors it runs like a champ! I you think you are lacking fuel check the fuel pressure and go from there, some times your fuel pump will slowly go out

 

my problem is that the b18 that was in it before ran like a champ and now the b20 is way lacking in power. so im trying to figure out what the problem is. most everything was used from the previous b18 motor. all that was done was a direct unbolt of the b18 and bolt in the b20

 

Check compression and timing.
