just tryed to smog my car and it showed as a gross polluter and the tech couldnt tell me anything except the problom was no gasses. What do i need to replace, or what are the commun parts/sensors that would cause this? any help is greatly appreciated

 

they didnt give you a paper of were it is a Gross Polluter, such as HC, CO, or NOx? their is no way to really help you with your problem if you dont know where its failing at,

 

NOx max at 1500 rpm is 716/ im at 2797, max at 2800 rpm is 764/ im at 1743.
I dont really understand because it is driving better than it ever has and getting better gas milage @ 32 mpg

ok heres the deal your runing kinda rich it u have a stock d series then use one of them vx headers beacuse it has another cat on it, and go get a whole tune up oil change, spark plugs, spark pulg wires and GET ONE OF THEM (guerenteed to pass) at Auto Zone or Kragan it will help big time! Thats what there called GUERENTEED TO PASS

 

The engine is running lean or hot. Check for low fuel pressure or a stuck open FPR. The o2 sensor also could be bad. Also check the thermostat.
