hello! i just bought myself a 2000 Honda Civic EX, 5sp, 140 K. I was wondering if its possible to swap out the dashboard with a dash from an SI, which unlike mine, has a rev counter. I miss a rev counter too much... Thanks!

 

"Rev counter" = tachometer?

You can install an Si gauge cluster which has a tach, you won't need the whole dash.

This is a Canadian car, right?

- yes i am referring to the tachometer - just lately i watched this British car show too much called top gear.
- you are also right about the terminology on the gage cluster, i should have used that.

- mine doesn't, and sometimes my sister drives the car and she is so clueless when to shift, not exactly sure why - even though she is a decent driver.

So basically i can just take this gage cluster out, put one in from an si and the tachometer will work without any wiring? That would be sweet

 

yep just a simple swap of clusters. there are like 7 screws and a few plugs and youre done
