i have a 91 crx si with the d15b2 engine, i just replaced the alternator and now when i put the key into the ignition and turn it, nothing happens. no lights in the dash turn on, stereo doesnt come on, nothing electrical will work. the only thing that works on my car right now is my windows (because i can roll them up or down by hand hahaha)... and i have a 1 week old battery, i made sure i plugged everything back in right... i dont know what else it could be.

 

check for burnt fuses and make sure the alternator belt is tight...!!!

 

check this yellow fuse under the hood fuse box is were its located at. make sure you have all grounds hooked up also

Also check to make sure the battery isn't dead. Even if it's new, you can still run it out of juice. If so, bring your battery into Autozone to get it charged up (for free). The battery starts the car, the alternator keeps it running (and charges the battery)...
