Default H23 prelude shift linkage cable to accord

I am in the process of swapping my auto accord to five speed mated to a f22b dohc, I was able to acquire a H23 prelude shift linkage cable. Will this work with the accord manual shifter lever assembly ?? Is there any misalignment or length issues??

thanks j

it won't work, you either need the 4th gen cables and shifter, or accord cables and shifter

Ok heres the deal I aquired a 4th gen prelude shift linkage cable as well as a 5th gen accord shift linkage with the 5th gen accord shifter assembly. Thyey are not compatible, the prelude cable is much longer by a few inches than the accord, FYI for those of you trying to aquire parts for a auto to manual swap, stick with what is appropriate for your year. I am still aquiring parts for my swap auto to manual f22b dohc to a h23 tranny.
