1998 with 102k. Picked it up for $1300 with a bad rear end. A little different than the HT norm . . .

Basically stock at this point. I have a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift and JK Rubicon Moabs with 32"s for it, not sure if that will go on.

It's the 5.9 . . . made only in 1998. The production was limited to 14k worldwide.
Some of the better features:
-245hp/345tq
-Heavy duty driveshaft
-Electric fan
-Full time four wheel drive
-2.75" exhaust from the factory
-0-60 in 6.8
I got me one of those too. Probably going to sell though.

Thanks man. I cut the fenders a little while ago with an angle grinder and a cutoff wheel. Bumper cover has been off for almost a year at this point. It's too easy to tear off when wheeling.
yeah, for some reason, it seems as if its the first place to hit when taking a hill, lol. mine was torn up unerneath pretty good. the wife wouldn't let me take it off though.

All depends on how it was cared for. Most are very reliable. There are a few things to look out for (249 transfer case with the V8, plenum gasket) but for the most part, they're a really solid vehicle.

I had a 96 4.0 and currently have a 5.7 2003 Overland edition (for sale if anyone is interested)
my 96 was actually what inspired me to add a little jeep to my civic, sadly this project is on hold until I can find headliner material

very nice, had no idea they made a 5.9, in that body style.

And your Overland is a 4.7 HO. I'd like to see the console mounted in the Civic.

console mounted in civic is still waiting for me to find headliner material that matches. I now have a stack of sample material but nothing that doesn't look terrible in the car.

D44a that I swapped in is at the shop getting basically entirely rebuilt due to a series of issues with it . . . bad ebrake, all new seals, spider gears, and all new bearings. Should have it back the middle of next week sometime with my wallet $1500 lighter, and then I've got my 180 degree tstat and SCT tuner to play with.
