Default ek driver side axel problem...help

my friend has a 1996 honda civic coupe and he just swapped a jdm b16 in it
he has b series axels from autozone and the car is dropped on some ebay coil overs with skunk 2 springs his driver side axel was driving fine for the first month after the swap but after awhile it kept clicking it had a small rip and we replaced it and we put a new one on there it didnt rip but it started making a rumbling sound and clicked sometimes ...........so the we raised the car up and the sounds stopped by the car doesnt look right at stock height does n e one know what the problem might be? someone told me to upgrade motor mounts? any suggestions or help...thanx.

motor mounts might help. did he by chance run over anything that could tear the boot? also, go to NAPA and get the lifetime warranty axles

Autzone axle SUCK!!!!!!! I had to replace mines 5 different times in a month, because they would click or a boot would rip a bit. I know my car is lowered, but my stock ones lasted longer than the autozone one did. Get some from napa, they are more durable.

Sounds like you slammed the car to the ground. cv axles only have a certain range of workable angle before you start to damage them or not work properly. if your car is so low that there is a zero degree or close to that angle, the axles will wear out very very easily....

if your car is not slammed... disreguard my post lol.... and then my advice would be just keep putting new axles in, since they are lifetime warranty lol...
