I was wondering whats needs to do the conversion. whats parts out of a 99-00 si do I need to switch everything over?

 

everything obvious... switches motors regulators ect, then you need the floor harness....

 

is there a write up anywhere

if you have a 96' you will need:
-power floor harness from a 96-98 EX (or you can wire it up manually.. but its much easier to buy the harness.)
-door harnesses from a 96-98 EX
-power locks
-window regulators
-3 20 amp fuses
-power window relay
-lock control unit from a 96-98 EX
if you get mirrors also you're going to need the switch.

i was wondering is this the same for the 97 dx ek. and where did you get the parts for this swap.

 

'96-'98 all plug into other '96-'98s. '99-'00 all plug into other '99-'00s.

You can source the parts easiest if you find a car being parted out. You might find luck through H-T MarketPlace, Craigslist, eBay or a local forum.

 

do i need locks and actuators from a 96-98 as well or can i get it from a 99-00
