Default will a y8 timing cover work on a z6??

will it??? for some reason i think the timing marks would be off. i dont have a cover and a buddy has a y8 laying around thats why im asking

I am not 100 percent sure but I think I was able to get a y7 timing cover on a z6 motor, I wasnt perfect though if it was it, I don't think all the bolts were lined up to the block, I can't remember if that was it all the way or not, and I'm not sure if the Y7 is the same as the Y8, hope it helps though

At least you can try it, if it doesn't work then go get a z6 one, shouldn't be too hard
