Default My crx plans, and need some advice/assistance.

1) The crx I plan to purchase is automatic. And I plan to do a full jdm sohc swap(5spd), it's between the JDM d15b vtec or zc sohc. I know I need the manual pedal assembly and shift linkage. What other necessary parts do I need for the conversion?

2) Engine and ecu wiring for the zc sohc non-vtec, is it straight forward plug-n-play. Since it's not vtec equipped?

3) And for the d15b vtec, what or which wires are needed to be hooked up for the engine and ecu? Thanks everyone for your time and assistance.

You my friend need to search. You will need to do a mpfi swap first off. And really with that many posts and being on here since 05 come on did you just live in a box and post in gdd where they are all dumb asses? Its on the sticky on this page the faq that will answer all of your questions.

Bingo, I've been in the GDD for quite too long. An mpfi swap first?

I assume you have to do the MPFI swap if it's the DX model only, correct? And if it's an HF/SI model, then the swap is just straight forward from there?

So to say, if you got a hf or si it will not be a automatic and you will not have to mpfi swap. So go out and find one or the other dont waste your money or time on a **** box auto unless you got it for free or got paid to take it.

Not really, you can find manual crxs and hatches for $600 if you look around. What ever you wanna do but your just dumping more money in to it then its worth.

/\ What do you think? $600 for a clean title, no accidents, no missing interior or exterior parts. Dead motor though running 3 cyclinders. But I'm sure I could get the price lowered.
