T- Minus about a weeks till I switch to the DOHC side
Going to the 1/8th mile track fridday night for one last viewing of the imports before i start my journey. I dont run, but kinda would like to get a time. But its kinda expensive here to run on the track. So i am not going to waste needed money just for a slow *** time.
BUT
This weekend will begin. tear down of motor and cleaning. It will be put up on the engine stand and babied.. its been at in a garage for months and ready to be brought to life. I will also clean and add some good tranny fluid to my JDM h22 auto tranny.. I think ill go with Redline or some kind of high performance fluid.
Skunk2 cam gears, JDM cams, springs and retainers will be placed installed and AEM Fuel rail and FPR will be added also. I do have pistons, rings and Rods, but I (thanks to all those i bug every darn day
have decided to keep them out. Get the engine running and tuned right first.
Only Down fall will be the custom mandrel bent three inch catback ordered. but once i ve got it tuned and closer to Christmas, Ill be looking to finish getting the rest of the stuff for my turbo kit. Then block will be resleeved and internals will be added and good to go.
Not sure if Pics will be available. But Install Write up will follow afterwards. Along with any trouble shooting hints, questions and whatever may pop up.
