Default Howdy

Hello everyone, figured id take a moment to get myself arranged with the forum. I just purchased my 09 Civic SI, I traded in my 06 F150 which was a lifted modded animal who got about 12mpg hehe.

Heres is the pic of my new baby..

And now for some questions and comments, at first I drove 3 different sedan sport cars before the Civic. Once I got behind the wheel of the SI I never looked back, it had everything I was looking for. Now that its been exactly a week I am just enjoying it more and more, the nearly 30mpg is excelent as well.

My first modification well kinda and some questions requarding it.

Garmin GPS portable, which is going to stay per. in the vehicle, do any of you guys have your port gps hardwired? If so did you have to do a vent mount and wire into the factory radio? That would be nice but I really like where its sitting at the moment. I think im going to open the left dash compartment and look for some room to hide the wire tonite. My next mod will be 20% tint all the way around cept for the front.

Looking to get a full CAI either Injen or AEM around september time frame, let the motor get good and broken in.

So here it is guys its been along time since I messed with tuners. This thing is a monster and so fun to drive, I have a feeling I might mess with it more than the mods to come. But I want to keep it stock on the exterior and suspension. So heres to a new ride and a new forum!

Welcome to the party. I don't think anyone could complain about their 8th gen. A car offering both power and fuel economy with a 6 speed gearbox. Just make the search feature your best friend, keeping in mind that many questions have already been asked.

Might as well go with 5% tint, since you can't see out of either at night.

Injen makes a great CAI, but if you can get an AEM for a good bargain, it will do as well.

BTW, pic isn't loading, but maybe its just me.

Welcome!

I've had my 07 pretty much stock for a couple years and still loving it. Why mess with a good thing is a little hp going to really do that much? Well I've got my hatch to play with so no modding the daily.

Our 09 drives a little better...mainly the transmission feels better, any time the wife lets me I drive it

No pic for me either.

Host must be no good for this site. I am a believer in the search option, I would love to go 5% but my state regulates no less that 35% im just going to wing it with 20.

Hey years back when the tuner scene was throbbing around here I was knee deep in it. Burnouts, girls, great friends, fast ricers, and non ricers it was huge now its mainly a every so often thing here.

Thing was a guy in town had a 98 Civic SI coupe with jackson racing supercharger, no one could touch him. With that being said just looked at there website see they have a new SC fixen to be unleashed!
