How much hp/ and boost can d16 stock sleeves handle? I want to run 300hp and am just about to build the bottom end but dont want to if I am just gonna crack a sleeve a month later....

 

? seriously if you go down the page a little "600+whp on Vitaras, stock sleeved D16!"
so yes it can if you build it right and tune it properly
and no it cant if things are out of tolerance and un tuned

 

my buddy with his camaro is like blah lbah blah single cam turbo piece of **** , your gonna blow it before we even race. sleeves are gonna crack , headgasket gonna blow up every time you do a pull , just straight **** talking. then I started to get paranoid lol. thanks guy.
