Default Off Topic question for Boston area residents

I'm planning a trip to Boston with a friend next week and was wondering if car theft is an issue in Boston. Are there any places I should avoid parking with my R.

In general, I would say only park in a garage in Boston. The car is a magnet for punks, thieves, scumbags, and degenerates.

I came out of a friends apt on Marlborough St (nice area) one night last summer, and my ITR was being cased by a bunch of hoodlums. I no longer park on the street when I go into town with the ITR.

Just to be safe, you should park it in a safe hotel garage. Do not park it on the street overnight and unless you have a decent alarm that covers the basics, LEAVE it at home. It doesn't matter if you park it in a "safe or good neighbourhood", people drive into better neighbourhoods to shop for cars.
