Default Supra Pistons fo D16.. Anyone still have them?

I was wondering if anyone had any supra pistons for the D16 engine build with the B16 Rods. I have a B16 sitting in my garage and I dont know what to do with it so I wanted to build a D16 since I have everything I need for it to run.

Does anyone have any supra pistons 75mm? I pmed the panda guy about them but he isnt replying. The reason I'm not putting the B16 into my civic is cause I dont have a tranny for it and I don't want to spend to much money on a civic.

I've been searching all over if someone still might have them but I cant find any.

IIRC, Supras run an 86mm bore. That's a little larger than your D series

yes i do understand that the 86mm will not fit but the 75mm will fit..

i dont think you guys have heard of this build but this isnt new and has been done before. im not asking how to do it or if its possible im asking where i can get some 1G-GTE supra pistons that have the 75mm bore.

This thread is ridiculous. If you already know what you're going to do, then do it. I dont see the point of this thread at all...

Honestly, you dont need the supra pistons, there are so many different OEM pistons that fit, and the pistons will outlast the B16 rods, hence no need for the supra pistons

Well i tried looking for you...no luck. I was hoping to make a smartass remark about how easily i found them, but i got nothing. You do however get a consolation prize

I just learned this, but those pistons aren't used as a stock replacement...they're used in lieu of a Vitara or other "aftermarket" turbo piston. The link above shows how you can use the aforementioned piston with LS rods for a cheap turbo build...

the reason i need the supra pistons is cause they are the same bore but they are higher and would raise the compression but the B16 rods are shorter so it lowers the compression to about 8.5 which is a good ration..

thats the reason i need the pistons.. if i put the d16 pistons to fit on the rods the compression is going to be way too low..

plus the supra pistons are forged or cast or something.. but theyre strong..

not worth it adding shorter rods to a already bad rod to stroke ratio engine is just dumb get a set of ls rods machine them and slap on some vitaras
