I know the fuel pump relay in the accord is not functioning properly as I have bypassed the relay and the pump works fine but does not start when it is not bypassed. However, I am having a hard time finding the fuel pump relay. The research I have done suggests that it is under the dash near the steering column..... Does anyone have any diagrams or better directions to find this fuel pump relay?

It is located underdash and between the steering column and the heater unit (close to steering column). There are 7 wires connected to the bottom the the relay. The colors of the 7 wires are: GRN/BLK, BLU/RED, BLK, WHT/GRN, YEL/BLK, RED/WHT, and BLK/YEL.

 

the only relay i can find is a mitsuba rz 0088 and it isn't named fuel pump relay.... just the mail relay something or other. wires are similar in color; is this the relay?

 

The Main Relay is the fuel pump relay.

 

I had to remove the cruise control box to get to mine when it stopped working.

I can not find a good wiring print for the fuel pump relay for a 1994 honda accord ex. The one I found does not match up with the car. I Ohmed out the wire to the pump and it is #7 but the print says it should be #4 which my relay does not have a #4 pin.

 

where is the fule pump located haveing a problem with my pump also I have a relay to put in just want to know just in case it is the pump

 

How did you bypass the relationship and get the pump to work.
