I have a 90 Si hatchback...
- Swapped the stock steering wheel because of the delamination issue
- Put in a Momo hub and knockoff 330mm wheel, but never hooked up the horn.
- Swapped that setup for a four-spoke EF sedan steering wheel... and therein lies the problem. I was hoping to get the horn working with this wheel, but the contact interface is backwards from that of the stocker.
Now, when I turn the wheel more than one full revolution, the horn randomly honks (which is both hilarious and frightening at the same time - especially when driving through my sister's apartment complex full of porch-dwelling ne'er-do-wells. I'll tell the whole story if you want).
My question: Has anyone hooked up the sedan wheel in their hatch with their horn actually working? Many thanks for your assistance.

i use a prelude wheel and to get the horn to work i swapped the wiring for the horn (the round contact and wires) from my original wheel into it. I'm not familiar with the four door horn setup,
can you open up the wheel and swap the wires for the horn (just a thought).

Pics will be forthcoming. The interface on the back of the sedan wheel is the reverse of the stocker.
so do you mean the the tab (that is bent to contact the ring on the wheel ) is on the wheel and not on the column (you should have one on the column )?
do you still have your old wheel to cannibalize and compare/examine?
