DIY: RBC IM cover on RRC IM
So i was messing a couple minutes ago and somehow i got the RBC IM cover to fit the RRC IM. But anyhow, on to the main point. this is honestly a 1 minute job if you have the right things on hand.
1.) So first off we have the RRC manifold

2.) Now we have the RBC IM cover i know its messed up. but this is for show purpose only. and i'm in the process of changing the paint scheme. but anyhow.

3.) Now onto the good part. The first and most important part, screw the studs from the RBC IM into the holes on the RRC. yes they do screw in, believe it or not, the big threaded side needs to be facing up, while the rear stud for the rubber grommet stays the same.

4.) Line up the RBC IM cover. it is going to line up, but keep reading.

5.) Now with some force, push down the IM cover into the studs. and the 2 pressure fitted washers should pop out.

and you should be left with this

6.) Now you might have to make a run to autozone, pep boys, etc or the local hardware store, but i randomly had the right size washer and nuts laying around. now i did not install this because im in the process of painting my IM cover. but get the right hardware and it will fit. you may or may not need washers, depending on your preference. and this last pic is to show the runner clearance with the RBC IM cover.

i know the clearance isnt perfect, but some people dont like driving without the manifold cover, so i thought i would relieve some stress for those people.
