Default d15z1 block with jdm d15b vtec head

i was just wondering if anyone has done this i have a jdm d15b vtec and has broken ringlands iam sure SMOKES like no other ....so i have a d15z1 block and a d15b8 block and iam trying to fifure out what block i should use iam boosted been on 8 psi for a while now i know that the z1 block has dished pistons the b8 has pistons that look similar to a z6 piston .....so my question is what block should i use with about how much boost not to worried about being super safe ... i was thinking the d15b head on the d15z1 block and about 14 psi ...maybe instantly blow it up ? any info would be cool thanks

eith block will work with the d15 b head just get it tunned asap 10 psi is the most id ever run on a stock interally d series.. tunning is the key

yeah i understand that tuning is the key ....but iam looking for a little more info on what would be the compression and i have boosted alot more the 10psi on alot of stock d series motors ..... iam looking to see what i could boost before completly blowing it up
