Ok when I go over a deep/rough bump I hear this 'knock' sound. Also as if something is loose up front. But the weird thing is that is doesn't happen all the time. It usually happens maybe going 20-30 mph when I hit a deep bump, but like I said it doesn't happen all the time. What can I check to make sure something isn't loose? I am going out of town so I want make sure nothing is coming loose.

Honestly, if something was loose, you'd probably hear it more often. I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Guessing no aftermarket suspension installed? Have you replaced anything in the area its coming from recently? Anything you know of may be a bit old in that area?

Check the sway bar end links, the bushings and whatnot are probably worn... Same thing happened to me. Took the opportunity to replace with Anti-Sway bars and Struts.
