He's pointing at stuff on the road so the other rider behind him avoids it (roadkill, gravel, etc...). When riding in a group I do this all the time...

 

But you've got skill and experience. This guy should be concentrating on his riding and not worrying about what someone else might run over.

Yea, it's a good practice... but at 2:06 the dead animal is way off the shoulder. The guy looked out of his element and nervous, and trying real hard to act like he knew what he was doing (example, pointing at everything he saw on the road with his feet).

 

that was like watching an episode of the Office...awkwarrrddd.
It took me a good minute to see that he was pointing out things on the road with his feet. I do the same thing, but I point it out with my hand, and (not to toot my own horn) I can handle myself out there. This guy looked like he was going to crash any second.
Good find mookie. Nice little pick me up before work.

 

Yeah.. hes really not doing me any favors trying to point out every little obstacle on the road way that is off line..

Thats not far from where I live. Never ridden that road myself, but I guess its kind of famous/infamous.
