fuel pump needs washers?

do i need to have washers where i drew the arrows? thanks in advance

First off, thats the fuel filter not the pump. Secondly, yes you need the seals there. They should be either aluminum or copper.

copper on every side, replace those after 1 use. torquing them down squishes those kinda like a head gasket
