the rubber cap comes off. theres 2 metal sticks on the side with nuts in them. unscrew all of them on the sides and the rubber thing comes off. i did that and it still lookslike i have an airbag...which i dont i blew it up in the snow with a car battery.

after you take off the nuts on the side. it just pops off.
if you unplug it from the battery and take it out of the car it wont blow up
you have to touch 1 wire to the battery and and the other wire to the terminal booom
veryfun, but it stinks. its a chemical reaction. just make sure theres no battery hooked up to it. you can throw it around and use it for a football if you wanted to

you could always use a drill bit and drill out the screws.
then put the airbag under a 10 speed bike and blow it up and watch the bike fly in the air...

Canada has airbag delete trays that are type F or type K interior colors. They're about $80 or so. They look really nice. I have a new type F, which is the lighter grey, for $60 USD if you want it.
