In reference to the item listed below....I emailed them to confirm the brand they are selling and find out what it is constructed of. The bottom pic on the page clearly shows an "OBX" header but when asked their reply was
"Chromed, Not OBX." Thats odd since, if you go to http://www.ssautochrome.com the first thing you see and the only headers they sell are "OBX Racing Performance.
I'm not saying this is a bad header (how could I, I don't even know who's it is) or that its a bad deal. Just saying it is "misrepresented." Caveat Emptor.

you are right. they show one pic of a header with the obx stamp and another without. either way, they are both sucky headers

 

Everyone and there damn brand names. If u like it then buy it. Who cares what company its from. If its installed correctly and was used correctly and breaks on you, then you can sue the company. OBX aint as bad as people think. Thats just my opinion. Buy it if you like it.

 

OBX is shitty....a friend of mines bought an OBX shortshifter from a import shop a while back. Lo and behold a day later it snaps in two. what kinda of quality is that?

 

Manufactures defect? Lol. I dont know. I'm just sayin I use OBX stuff on my car and it works great. Short shifter too. Maybe he did something to break it. I dont know. I'm just saying its fine for me and nothing bad has happened. YET.

 

fourwheels_auto sucks *** too. ordered a generic type r rear strut bar from them on august 3 and still havent received it as of today. no replies to emails and such. will never do business with again. fortunately i have his address and he is pretty close to me so i think ill pay him a visit.

i saw that header too, looks good. id be more worried about fitment problems. i was almost gonna get it too.

Just got another email from ssautochrome. Was told the brand of this header is a "Stone Race header."

 

I had an OBX headers before, and it worked great and didn't have any problems with it at all. It fit just fine.
