Just curios. I'd really like to buy one but am a bit concerned on mileage?
I would probably be looking at a 4 door automatic for my wife
Also, how much you guys think I could get one for?

^Damn I cant believe you get that good in the Si's??? I've always heard from people how terrible the mileage is in them.
But I'd assume the 1.8 would do better huh?

I don't get anywhere near that mileage on my Si. However I do like to drive above 2500rpm so that could be the case.
In your case that depends on the car you get, i'd have to assume the 1.8 is better than the 2.0 on miles and if you get a hybrid your mileage will be amazing.
I for one don't have any complaints on my mileage and I'm running a 2 door Si.

I'm seeing decent numbers from some of these guys. I'd wager that a regular 1.8 civic would be much better then?
I consistantly get 29-30 mpg in the Si, thats about 2/3 miles highway and 1/3 miles city driving per tank. Sometimes Ill pull off a 31 or a 33 mpg tank, but thats an all highway tank.
i get about 250miles to a tank in my si, city/highway mixed and thats usually consistin of flooring it from red lights and mergin on highway and then ballin on highways around 3k to 3.5k rpms.
I've been pulling similar numbers. The desert really takes away from your throttle response, while also having one's ac on 24/7 doesn't help mileage either.
hell yea it does. you should see my car when i leave work. it sits in 100+ degrees from like 10 a.m till 330 p.m! i swear my car feels like a single cam when i leave work
