I have a 91 DX with a first gen B16 swap. I just installed 90-93 non abs axles and some ball joints and now my car makes a terrible clicking sounds. I never even made it out of the parking lot i could hear it 1st and revers and esp when turning.


anyone have any ideas?!?!?

 

Are they used axles or new? If it is clicking that typically means the CV joints are bad.

 

Exactly what nevaevasatisfied said, if you bought the axels in the store take them back. I know it sucks since you need to do the work again, but if the clicks are louder while turning they are axel joints almost 100%. I changed my crx axel last month and the first ones joint was bad. I was pissed cuz I knew that I had to lose another hour of my life to replace the other one.
