alright, recently got a referee ticket for modified exhaust and modified smog device. running a b20 and there's no way i can find a stock motor nor can afford one. besides all that, i've heard the best thing i could do is sell the car and tell the judge i've sold the car, then what happens? will they dismiss it, or still make me pay for the fine?

anyone gone through this before?
