Would a bad EGR valve cause the car to be a little hesitant between 150 -2Krpms? it's a 94 EX F22B1 CEL throwing code 12

 

I haven't found anything on it anywhere. Have you checked the owners manual, or hayne's manual?

 

No I left my haynes manual at a guys house. But I'm getting code 12 sometimes and I notices between 150 and 2k rpms the motor starts shaking and is a hesitant. It would even misfire, but I change the spark plugs and now it's just a little hesitant. I tried cleaning out the EGR, but didn't help.

 

Code 12 is an EGR valve lift sensor error. There are test procedures that you can do to see if it is the valve, vacuum hose or sensor that is bad.
