Aside from the CRX having a plastic panel and the civic being metal, what is the difference? I ask this because I need one for my 87 CRX, and a local body shop going out of business has one for the 87 civic that he wants 20 bucks for. I know this subject has been beat to death, and I know it isn't a drop-in replacement, but if the shape is the same and it is just bolt holes, maybe it could be done?

 

The headlights are shaped different, the parts are different they are different it will not bolt up save your 20$

 

thanks for the reply. That's the kind of answer I was looking for. I'm a GM man, done a few restos on them, there are a lot of parts that are interchangeable that the books say are not, just a parts guy saying "different part number, won't fit" on this header was not really what I was looking for. "Different shaped headlights", now, that's definitive. Again, thanks. Mike
